See the prices for Current WIX plans

You will own your site. Others companies will hold your site hostage on their server and charge you absurd setup prices. My pricing is simple, and other companies can't compare.

I can create a basic 1 page site for $60, 2 page site for $80, and 3 page site for $100 and each additional page will require about an hour of setup, if I already have the content like the text and photos.  View my portfolio

Below is the current WiX pricing plans for a new site. For a small church or small business I recommend the Light plan (other plans are available) If you pay upfront for 3 years the site hosting can cost as low as $14 a month.

MAINTENANCE PRICING

After initial setup I charge $20 an hour for maintenance and content updates. I am easily accessible if you have content you would like to add immediately and we can establish a maintenance schedule and plan to update content that you provide while maintaining content like your calendar, photos, blog posts, pages, and event promotions, while also updating the unseen content like the search engine optimization, etc... I will setup a custom content trajectory to make sure your site is up to date and I will send you a report once a month with details of what I worked on and my future goals for your site. I am flexible and can offer maintenance packages from several hours a week, to an hour every other week.

If you pay upfront for 3 years of site hosting for $14 a month and schedule two hours a month, your total site price will essentially be $54* a month. ($14 + 2 hours at $20 an hour) *price does not include taxes from WIX

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND MISUNDERSTOOD CONTENT

What is SEO ?

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the process of improving a website to increase its visibility in search engines like Google, Bing, and YouTube for relevant searches. It involves optimizing content, site structure, and technical elements to attract organic (unpaid) traffic. Key components include keyword research, content quality, and site speed. Core Components of SEO On-Page SEO: Optimizing individual pages by placing keywords in titles, meta descriptions, and content, ensuring it is valuable to users. Technical SEO: Ensuring the website is fast, mobile-friendly, properly indexed, and easily crawled by search engine bots. Off-Page SEO: Building site authority and trustworthiness, primarily through acquiring backlinks from reputable websites.

What is a backlink ?

A backlink is a clickable hyperlink on an external website that points to your own, acting as a "vote of confidence" for search engines like Google. High-quality, relevant backlinks are crucial for SEO as they increase domain authority, improve search rankings, and drive referral traffic, often acting as a key ranking factor in 2026. Key Details About Backlinks: Synonyms: Often referred to as inbound links, incoming links, or external links. Importance: They are crucial because search engines, such as Google, evaluate the quantity and quality of backlinks to assess a site's authority and relevance. Quality Indicators: Links from reputable, topically similar websites are far more valuable than links from unknown or unrelated spam sites, per experts like Engenius and Reddit users. Components: A backlink consists of the URL and the "anchor text" (the clickable words), which help Google understand the linked page's content, according to Semrush. Usage Examples & Types of Backlinks: Editorial Links: Natural links earned through high-quality content or industry reputation (e.g., a news site linking to your data). Guest Posting: Writing articles for other websites and including a link back to your own, as discussed in this Reddit discussion. Directory/Resource Listings: Links from reputable, industry-specific directories. Broken Link Building: Replacing broken links on other websites with relevant links to your own content, as explained by Network Solutions. Common Pitfalls: Avoid buying backlinks or using automated link-building services, as these can lead to penalties. Focus instead on acquiring links naturally through quality content and ethical outreach, notes Moz.com

What are Google algorithms ?

The Google algorithm is a complex system of multiple algorithms and ranking factors used by the search engine to retrieve data from its vast index and deliver the most relevant, high-quality, and useful results for a user's search query. It is not a single, static formula but an constantly evolving system with thousands of minor and several major updates each year. How the Google Algorithm Works The process for delivering search results happens in three main stages, where Google's algorithms are continuously at work: Crawling: Automated programs called "crawlers" or "Googlebot" explore the web, discovering new and updated web pages by following links and sitemaps. Indexing: Google analyzes the text, images, and video on the discovered pages to understand what the content is about and stores this information in a massive database called the Google index. Serving Search Results: When a user enters a query, the algorithms search the index for matching pages and rank them based on hundreds of factors to return the results most relevant to the user's need (known as search intent). Key Ranking Factors While the exact weighting of each factor is a company secret, Google has indicated several broad categories that matter most in determining a page's position in search results: Relevance: How well the content on a page matches the user's query and intent, using language models and synonym systems to understand context and meaning. Quality & Expertise: Google prioritizes content that demonstrates Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness (E-E-A-T). This is often signaled by high-quality backlinks from other reputable websites. User Experience (UX): The usability of a page is important, including technical aspects like fast loading speed (Core Web Vitals), mobile-friendliness, and lack of intrusive ads. Context and Settings: Results are customized based on the user's location, language, device type, and past search history to provide the most immediately useful information. Major Algorithms and Updates Google constantly refines its systems to improve results and combat spam: PageRank: The original foundational algorithm that evaluates the importance of pages based on the number and quality of backlinks. Panda: An update that targeted low-quality, thin, and duplicate content, rewarding higher-quality websites. Penguin: Focused on penalizing websites that used manipulative and spammy link-building practices. Hummingbird: Improved Google's ability to understand the meaning and intent behind a search query, moving beyond simple keyword matching. RankBrain: A key AI and machine learning system that helps interpret ambiguous or complex queries by analyzing user behavior patterns. BERT: A natural language processing (NLP) model that allows Google to better understand the full context of words in search queries, especially for longer, conversational searches. Helpful Content System: Now part of the core algorithm, this system prioritizes "people-first" content that is written to genuinely help users rather than simply to gain search engine traffic

Understanding the Difference Between Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy

1. Terms and Conditions (T&C): are a contract between your business and users outlining the rules for using your website, app, or service. Includes provisions on acceptable use, intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and dispute resolution. Helps limit liability and protect your business legally. 2. Privacy Policy is a legal statement informing users how their personal data is collected, stored, shared, and protected. Required by privacy laws such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), and other data protection regulations. Includes details on cookies, third-party data sharing, and users’ rights over their information. While both documents are critical, a Privacy Policy is required by law in many jurisdictions, whereas Terms and Conditions are optional but highly recommended for liability protection. How to Combine Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy Correctly If you decide to combine these documents, you should clearly separate them within the same file to avoid confusion. Here’s how: 1. Create Two Distinct Sections Begin with Terms and Conditions to outline the rules of engagement for your users. Follow with a clearly labeled Privacy Policy that details data collection and protection practices. 2. Use Clear Headings & Language Label each section appropriately so that users can quickly find the information they need. Use plain language to ensure compliance with consumer protection laws and avoid ambiguity. 3. Ensure Compliance with Legal Requirements A terms and conditions attorney can help ensure that your combined document meets legal standards for both contractual obligations and data privacy laws. Certain jurisdictions require Privacy Policies to be distinct and separate—so if your business operates internationally, this is something to consider. 4. Make It Easily Accessible Display a link to the combined document on sign-up pages, checkout pages, and anywhere users enter personal information. Ensure users actively agree to both sections when using your service to strengthen legal enforceability.
